It’s week 7 – mayBe’s rest between cycles, so no community meal this Thurs and no Eucharist on Sunday (14 June).

Then, our community life bursts back with the camping weekend away on Sat 20 June [so we're not meeting Thursday 18th either]. Call us if you want to come along, it’s going to be great fun and it will be a special [if sad] time too during which we celebrate all Ian and Gail have brought to the community, and give them a proper send-off.

I was thinking this afternoon about the eucharist, and this line popped into my head:

‘As we gather to share your body and blood, my heart skips a beat as I remember how yours stopped’

I really enjoy, and am humbled by, remembering Jesus’ sacrifice regularly. It’s certainly something I’m not used to! thankyou mayBe.
